Check out my armored batgloves

Hey guys, I wanted to show you all the cheap batgloves that I made. I know they aren't a reproduction/replica of any particular movie or comic book, but I think they look pretty nice for some throw-together gloves. They fit great. I found the gloves themselves on a paintball gear website and thought they were pretty neat. Armored paintball gloves. I found the vambraces on Amazon pretty cheap as well, they are the steel finned vambraces. After some modification putting the pieces together, this is how they turned out. What do you guys think?

(They'll be going with my 89 Batsuit. One day I will have a pair of replica 89 gloves, but these will work until I can afford 300$ for a pair of gloves. In time.. in time..)ImageImageImageImage

If there is enough interest I may type up a quick tutorial on how to build these for you other brothers interested in building a nice pair of cheap batgloves. Just be super careful with them. The fins aren't razor sharp, but they are sharp enough to hurt someone or your cape. I have some medical tubing with a slit that covers these blades for times that I have to worry about such issues.

nice job!

Where did you get the arm piece/gauntlets? I could use something like that for the 89 boots.

Yeah, I coudln't think of any other way to put them on than to lace them. I was going to go with buckles, and they looked super cool, but they didn't allow for a nice tight fit. Meh, oh well. The laces don't look bad at all when they are put on over my armor's undersuit.

As for where I got the bracer/gauntlet piece, I got them off Amazon, but you can find them on 247swords.com if you search for Batman.

KeeP the laces but maybe use a Piece of pleather and velcro it on top of laces to hide them

Very cool gloves - I know I'd appreciate a write up or at least sources on the fins/gauntlets and gloves.

Those gloves look so much like the ones from the Arkham Asylum video game. Gunna have to get me a pair. Cool find.

I brought these gloves to a friend's house last night and she made a similar comment. I'm going to try it and see how it looks, I'll post a pic and see what you guys think.

I'll make a writeup/tutorial later tonight with links to find the items I used. Thanks guys :signal
