My Kilmer Panther suit - finished

hey there guys, i am very close to completeing my batsuit from Batman Forever. i had always wanted to put one together and its finally coming to frution. i recieved my spandex bodysuit today and had glued the armor onto it. after some trial and error i finally got it on correctly. i actually had to wear the undersuit backwards so that the zipper would be on the back so i can slip in and out of it, and that worked just fine. i got the armor from someone in CA who wanted to get rid of his, but i absolutly love the armor. not sure who the maker is, but whoever made this, kudos to them cuz its amazing. i was able to get everything in one shot, the belt and chest symbol, kneepads, legs and crotch, torso, cape and cowl. i loove the cowl! its all so much like the movie. i am now just waiting for my panther gloves and boots to come in. i am not obviously finished with this costume, still some odds and ends to be either fixed or done better, but this is basically what it will look like and i am stoked at finally being able to own a very movie accurate style batsuit. this wasnt really hard to put together, just needed to buy the right materials, and thanks to these boards for all the info! :signal

Very, very impressive. Love the way its mounted as it blends perfectly with the undersuit. You also have a good Kil mer chin and jawline, so the cowl looks perfect for your face shape.

Re: My Kilmer Panther suit (work in progress)

thank you so much for all the comments! also what a bummer that i missed my package containing my panther gloves this morning, doh! have to wait till monday to recieve my boots and gloves. after that, i will post pictures when its totally complete. it also helps that i excercise and keep in shape, so the suit would i think only fit someone who is in decent shape. any bigger and it wouldnt look right lol.

its truly is surreal wearing all the bat gear. its like a childhood dream come true. you feel so badass wearing it lol. one thing that ive seen some people do to there panther batsuits is shorten the cape for "convienience" sake. sacrilidge! batman always had a huge cape and thats part of the look, so i will certainly not be shortening the cape, no sir lol.
