Hello Everyone,
Haven't posted in a long time, but wanted to update. I am now down over 35 lbs, and still seeing some real progress. I have more to go, but recently had some killer gym sessions and for the first time was able to deadlift 175! I have the callouses to prove it! LOL! Can't believe I just said that! I'm loving my stronger body, and hope by next summer to be where I need to be. Hope you are all well, and I will try to update more often. :)

He offers some useful advice, combined with some Aussie humor.

A relative of mine who has been very successful with this after over 2 yrs of 2 hour workouts
says his workout is now 90% diet and 10% working out. In other words, abs would be invisible without the correct diet and supplements...

I agree Dave. Your nutrition plan is going to be the most important factor when you're trying to lose weight or stay fit. You can work out every day, but if you're not eating correctly you aren't going to see the results you want.

I think it depends on what you call fit and healthy. If you're looking for extreme results, like fat % les than 10%, then definitely, your diet becomes the most important. But for general health and a decent level of fitness, stick with whole foods for the most part and enjoy yourself and you'll continue to make good gains.

True words & I appreciate your comment.

The person I'm referring to 'wants it all', so they paid for 2 boxing bootcamp sessions which include a lot of emphasis on the abs and running a lot daily. After all, you need the ab protection for boxing. You learn how to kick and punch at a higher level which I've heard is very satisfying.

Yea most men could have abs just by losing enough weight. Dieting isn't that hard if you are trying to put on muscle. Eat enough so you are gaining about 4 pounds or so every month. A lot of guys will do weight training for a long time and not get much results simply because they aren't eating enough. You can't gain weight, that is muscle, if you aren't eating in a caloric surplus.

That said for me, I don't care much about abs. You can't see em most of the time anyways haha.
