Painting a Wetsuit
Is there a reliable way to paint a wetsuit?
I am talking about all colors not just dark ones.

Re: Painting a wetsuit
I'd imagine that using colored liquid latex would be a good way.

Re: Painting a wetsuit
But could you get a good range of colors? I am thinking outside the box on this one.

Re: Painting a wetsuit
Well, I used fabric paint on my JL suit for DC. You can also use the spray paint at AutoZone for cloth car seats. Both of these methods can be a real pain. The suit soaked up the first two layers of fabric paint pretty well. And at roughly $1/bottle, it gets expensive. If you can go the spray route it's a bit more economical. I'm sure others can chime in on this. It's just what little experience I have had.

Re: Painting a wetsuit
Does anyone think that coating it with latex and then painting it would be better?

Re: Painting a wetsuit
I made a Nightwing leather jacket recently.I painted the Nightwing logo on the jacket with just Behrs latex house paint. When dried, it remained flexible and soft. So my suggestion would be to use the latex paint.
