Strap Attachment - Tutorial

You have asked for it, here it is. It is all about straps. Mount your armor and muscle facades to any suit temporarily but beautifully with straps easily by following this tutorial. You only need one undersuit for multiple costumes saving you dollars to make more and better more versatile interchangeable costumes each time.

I hope it is helpful

Great tutorial Paul! Thanks! I may try and do my next suit like that.

One question... Do you find yourself having to readjust your armor while you're wearing it? Does it tend to move around a little as you move around? Just wondering if things tend to slide around at all. It looks like you have plenty of straps on there & if they're tight enough it may be OK.

It stays perfectly if done right.

Re: My new armor attachment tutorial

Knightsix, I have Paul's armor and used the strap method for this year's DC. I only have two straps on the lower chest, one around each arm and one at the neck and it did move at all!

On the legs I had three straps on that and it didn't move either. I love doing it that way! It is much easier to work with and wear.

It certainly looks great Rick! I'm getting some new armor in the next couple of weeks (not Paul's but I'll get some of his one day), & I think I'll do this next suit this way. It will have separate knee caps and elbow caps that I may have to go ahead & glue down though. My first suit was glued down. It looked great, but was a pain & a mess to do. If this works that well, then I'm sold.

Re: My new armor attachment tutorial

My armor is strapped down as well. I use one on each arm, one on the neck, and three on the chest and abdomin area, but I think two would have been sufficient.

On the legs I have one on the waist, one around the thigh, and one behind the knee. I may attatch a thin web belt to the legs to help keep them from slinking down while walking around.

I've found that I stay cooler since there is some air circulating between the latex parts and my lyrca wetsuit.
