Armor - One Piece Vs. Two Piece
Hey, I'll soon get sculpting class here in montreal to finally start my begins suit. But I got one question for you sculpting folks: Is it preferable to create the chest piece and the leg pieces separately or all in the same one piece? I've seen both, cant figure what are the goods and the bads...
please let me know.

Re: Question about Begins sculpting
Its better to make em seperate then one piece, It will be easier to work on.
And the movement will be a little better then one piece armor.

Re: Question about Begins sculpting
depends on what works for you.
I know Paul(artsee) sells some facades as entire body sculpts, and advises people to trim them into the appropriate sizes of pieces that will work for them.

Re: Question about Begins sculpting
Two pieces will give you better range of motion. It will also leave more open space that isn't covered in latex, which will help cut down on heat, and that's always good. And if you plan to unload any extras, two pieces will be easier to cut & fit to different body types.
That's great you're going to a sculpting class, I'm sure you'll learn quite a bit. Best of luck, keep us posted on your progress. :)

Re: Question about Begins sculpting
Yeah, i just don't have the courage to get to this without proper training first. I saw some sculpting dvds that looked good, but i feel that having a coach for a while would be what's best for me...

Re: Question about Begins sculpting
There's no better way to learn than hands on, and with someone you can ask questions to in person. I'm sure you'll do well. :up
