Rubies Begins Belt Accuracy
I know a lot of the bothers and sisters here are or have modified the rubies version, but how accurate is it to the movie version in its size and shape? Does anybody know the dimensions of the screen used belt, what material was used to make it? I know dullam-causey made an incredibly accurate one, does anybody know its secrets? Are there reference pics out there other than in the visual guide that might be used in making a more accurate belt?
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Re: Rubies Batman Begins Belt …how accurate?
My two cents:
I think the scuplt is generally considered to be pretty accurate.
It's smaller. People in the know have been throwing around the figure of 10% smaller, but it looks smaller than that to me.
I think in one of the books I read that the hero prop is anodized aluminum, and that is what it looks like. The grapple gun looks it, too.
For a chunk of change you can see a pretty accurate close-up of the buckle, but oversized, if you get the "2 small 1 large Batarang prop replica" thingy off eBay for around $100. The base that the batarangs are mounted on is an oversized buckle. The clips that hold the 'rangs are the ones shown in the visual guide. The color on it looks right on as well.
The visual guide is the best view I have seen. One of the other two books has a diagram, not a picture, that is less helpful.
