WalMart or Joann's Fabric stores. Seen them there.
I haven't embarked on this mod yet, but while at the $1 store, I saw a kids military helmet and Roman soldier helmet. I might see if these will fit inside the mask to hold shape, also. They Roman helment was skull tight, the army one was larger, but had a flat top. Just an idea...

Re: How to beef up a Gen.2 Begins cowl
I know that you can order the cowls online.
http://www.buycostumes.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18908&PCatID=&ccatid=
But you'll be taking a chance on whether or not you get a Gen-2 version....would just depend on which they have in stock.

Heres a link to the 2nd Gen on Ebay, if you have a Party City in your area, it'd be cheaper there, I got mine on sale for about 27$

Re: How to beef up a Gen.2 Begins cowl
got the cowl yesterday and it's great. Hardly need to add any foam as it fits really well. need to make a few mods and I am ready to go.

Re: How to beef up a Gen.2 Begins cowl
Regarding Plasti-Dip on the plastic mask...I wonder if it would adhere if a spray primer was applied to the plastic mask before gluing it to the inside of the latex mask.
Either way, I'm going to have to try this!
