Re: Filling the ears?

I used to fill my beyond cowl ears with urethane, about 3 shore. Never really liked the crayola model magic, it takes forever to fully harden then fell out. filling with latex is good but you have to do it in layers with a brush or it'll take forever to cure properly. It'll skin over like pudding and stay mushy inside for a very long time. messy. The urethane sets up over night.

Re: Filling the ears?

I just glue pieces of latex over the openings on the inside to keep my ear filling in place. I've used solid foam cut to shape & polyester fiber fill with some sucess, but now I think we should use that space for high-tech gizmos!
