Painting a Vinyl Cowl
Well, I'm back with more questions. As most of you know I've got a couple of projects going with modifying some licensed pieces, and I happen to have in addition to the latex pieces, a vinyl child-size cowl (the one that shows up on e-bay from time to time). Since I have a small head, this thing fits me extremely well. I've repaired a rip in the slit and am planning on either putting in a zipper or sealing up the slit - not sure if I can get it over my head if I seal it up. The vinyl's not as elastic as the latex... Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck repainting these things, and if so, what's the best thing to use? I seem to remember someone saying that Plasti-Dip doesn't work too well on these... Anyone have any insight to give?

Re: What's the best for painting a vinyl cowl?
Try Vinyl Dye. Seeing as it's made for vinyl it should work.
