Use sofa cushion type foam available from many craft and sewing stores. I would suggest 1/2" thickness stuff and glue it in with rubber cement or Household goop.nondisclosed_email@example.com (efarrell4)Mon, 25 Apr 2005 22:30:56 +0000 Re: Modifying and tightening a cowl?https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1796587,from=rss#post1796587https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1796587,from=rss#post1796587I believe there is a way to add padding inside to make it fit more tightly, but I'm not sure exactly what it is... I'm sure someone else will know though, I know some people have had to do that. The only other suggestion I have is spirit gum. Just make sure you'll react ok to it first, some people react badly to it and you don't want to do that to your face. :surprise nondisclosed_email@example.com (Deadly Lemur)Mon, 25 Apr 2005 21:58:47 +0000 Tightening a Cowlhttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1796586,from=rss#post1796586https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1796586,from=rss#post1796586Hey guys, I've been working on a new cowl, dippin' sandin' and smoothin' it, but it seems to be a little big around the chin and eyes. I stitched the bridge of the nose to bring the eyebrows together tighter, but the eye holes are too wide; they extend past the side of my eyes, and I don't have a real huge chin, so the cowl is loose around the bottom. Is there any way to tigthen up the cowl by filling it with padding, or anything like that? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks! ~Mattnondisclosed_email@example.com (pastadude)Mon, 25 Apr 2005 19:09:24 +0000
