Thanks for the pics! I can't believe after all these years we finally have some definite close up pics of the gloves :up. All this time I thought the studs were added by the prop maker.

They must have used the hand part for the gloves and redone the gauntlets because the screen used gauntlet doesn't have straps and goes higher up the arm towards the elbow along with the three vertical stitches. The pics I posted of the screen used glove a page back show this I think.

Didn't notice before but the last two rows have only 7 studs. You would think the last row would have 8.

Yeah, they definitely changed the wrist area onward. I don't think it would have looked right with fins on such a short gauntlet. Plus they probably didn't want to use something on the suit that anyone can buy at a store and have it look just like the movie without any modifications. Kinda like the Nike Trainers.
