Yeah I did a cut at the opening with a circular shape so that it doesn't bother me on the arm. I got the design for the glove from this website: How to make gloves They have a lot of things in there. I used that one, the "modern glove", and of course had to make some modifications because if I used all the same measurements as in the pic my thumb would be huge so it had to be shortened... but anyways the thumb is pretty flexible and I find them confortable. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Slash300zx)Sat, 23 Oct 2004 01:20:48 +0000 Re: pleather glove finshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798226,from=rss#post1798226https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798226,from=rss#post1798226Very cool, that's thinking outside the latex box!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Mattman585)Sat, 23 Oct 2004 01:03:59 +0000 Re: pleather glove finshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798225,from=rss#post1798225https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798225,from=rss#post1798225Slash -excellent gloves! I'll take a picture and post it in a couple of minutes nondisclosed_email@example.com (Slash300zx)Thu, 21 Oct 2004 21:44:26 +0000 Re: pleather glove finshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798219,from=rss#post1798219https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798219,from=rss#post1798219like the ones in Batman dead end minus the zippers. please any comments would be great as I am working on the gloves right now. :ohwell :frown nondisclosed_email@example.com (greensentinel7)Thu, 21 Oct 2004 20:28:43 +0000 Re: pleather glove finshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798218,from=rss#post1798218https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798218,from=rss#post1798218what style gloves do you want to make?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Gonzalo)Thu, 21 Oct 2004 18:47:14 +0000 Making Pleather Glove Finshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798217,from=rss#post1798217https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798217,from=rss#post1798217Hi, I am working on my gloves tonight and wondered if I could get a few suggestions? First, what I am doing is taking a pair of insulated leather biker gloves and some pleather from a craft store. To lengthen the glove I am sewing the pleather around the wrist of the leather gloves. Now I was thinking of cutting out either cardboard or foamboard fins and cutting pleather to match so that I can just fit the board into the pleather and sew the fins to the glove. Am I making sense? Any suggestions. The fins will be cut out to look like the dead end fins. Thanks for any comments or suggestions :cheers  :signal nondisclosed_email@example.com (greensentinel7)Thu, 21 Oct 2004 17:49:32 +0000
