Which is the Best Latex?
I'm trying to find out which is the best latex to use for spraying on costume pieces. I remember reading it once but I lost the info. Can anyone tell me which they prefer and how do I dilute it in order to spray it from one of the generic "home depot" type jar sprayers? Thanks.

Re: Which is the best Latex?
Well, I can tell how I paint "slip latex" or refered to as Halloween latex. I use thinned out slip latex (latex milk as it is sometimes called)or latex without any fillers (calcium carbonate) dillute with distilled water (10 parts water 1 part milk). Add water based colorant (liqutex). And use an airbrush gun, I use testors astec gun. as the paint only goes throught the nossle, not the whole gun.
some of the people here coat the latex with a material called "plasti-dip", which I don't know much about.

Re: Which is the best Latex?
I use casting latex from stagedoorstudios.com. It is awesome stuff and 129.00 for five gallons.
I try not to dilute it much if I am spraying.
