I was hoping to pick the brains of you guys who are pros here. I want to sculpt a buckle I am assuming out of clay. Is air drying enough to take a mold from? Next, I am planning to use a silicone RTV to make my mold, but I am not sure what is the best way to do this. Some have suggested brushing it on using the red catalyst, others have suggested using the blue catalyst and a tupperware. What do you guys suggest? What about using the metal powder? I was thinking that a brass powder might make for a nice look. Or is painting a better way to go? What should I be ordering to get this project going? Are there any good tutorials for using the metal powder and stuff? Thanks guys.... I really appreciate any help that you can provide. The guy from Silpak.com (Calif) was helpfull, except that I didn't understand what he was saying.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Zendragon)Tue, 10 Aug 2004 13:20:36 +0000
