Latex Chestpiece Too Thick
howdy all
about 2 years back i sculpted a chest piece out of clay then poured something over it to get a negative cast. I then poured liquid latex into the cast. This was my first time to due sucha thing and the net result is that my final product, the latex is too thick. Ive tried cutting away at the latex but it doesnt do much. I would like to hollow out my chest piece so i can make it wearable. Does anyone have any ideas of how to hollow out the chest piece?
Halloween is coming up and I would like to renew my batman costume that i started 2 years ago.
thanks to all

Re: my homemade chest piece is too thick
The best I could suggest is get a dremel tool with a sanding drum on it and get crazy with the inside of the piece.

Re: my homemade chest piece is too thick
If you have the mold why not just pour another one and call that one a loss?
