Latex Colorant


I'm about to get started on my latex pulls of the etched cowl and I need latex colorant. I owuld order it from monster makers but their minimum order is $35 and the colorant is 4 bucks a tube... Can anyone recommend somewhere in toronto or canada where I can get soem of this stuff or a good equivlant? I need this asap... perhaps can soem one lend a hand.

try cybergraphic designs, in the states, but should have some and don't think they have a minimum, I think he has some larger sizes not on the site, email and ask.

Ordinary, water-based black ink(get it in a craft store) works perfect for coloring latex black.

Go to colour your world you can get a full pint of tint for like $12-15 for black, it will tint many 5 gallon pails. They are the only ones I found that sell it by the can.

Only tint it to a mid grey,cuz at a point even if you pour the whole can it won't look any blacker but it really messes up the tear strenght and drying time.

I just use Black universal tint for interior house (latex) paint. A quart tints about 10 gallons of latex.. Nice and black..
About $15 in any house paint store for the quart.
