TTAS Robin Costume
I'm planning on tweaking a licensed piece-of-crap TTAS Robin costume, and so far all I'll need is the costume, belt, and gloves. TimDrakeRobin is already sculpting the mask, with mesh, for me. Anybody know where I can get a belt and gloves, or can anybody make them for me?

Re: Looking For TTAS Robin supplies
for the upper tunic, I say get two plain shirts (one red, one green), cut the sleeves off of the shirts and sew the green sleeves to the red shirt. For the emblem, I'll e-mail you one from the comics that you can use for an iron-on transfer (or you could tell me what you want it to look like and I'll make it). For the chest tabs, just get some yellow fabric paint and paint them on lol or you could get some yellow fabric and sew them on. You could probably find gloves at a mall or online, adn the belt, well... er... I'll get back to you on that lol
EDIT: and for the pants, get a pair of green sweatpants (I dunno... I'm doing that for my Batman costume lol)

Re: Looking For TTAS Robin supplies
Yea, again that licenced piece is a big piece of crap.
Here is what I am going to do for my son ($$$ permitting)
1. Get some Green tights. If I can't find some get white and die them
2. For the tunic, get some good looking red material and try to make one. It shouldn't be that hard seeing it is a simple shape.
3. For the emblem and bars, I am making it out of "Foamy" and then glueing it to the costume.
4. The Green sleeves are again going to be green material attached to the tunic. (If I can't do it I will farm out the sewing!)
5. Boots will be rubber galoshes with resin toppers and heel covers.
6. Gloves will probably green dishwashing gloves or I will make my own.
7. Mask cloth or latex with white material for the eyes.
8. Cape will be a hybrid Spandex/satin (black spandex with yellow satin) to give it an area to fit tight around neck but still have a good look to it.
9. Belt ..... err.... Mabye resin cast I am not sure yet.

Re: Looking For TTAS Robin supplies
this is how im making my robin costume ..
due to money constraints this halloween im gona change from batman to a robin style outfit. for now im gonna keep it simple, do the robin emblem out of foamies use a red and green tshirts, black jeans and combat boots and i will work on the mask. here is what i kinda have in mind
later on once things settle i want to redo the shirt with a msucle suit underit maybe out of pleather. just showing to see if anyone can recommend a better way. I dont want a cape want something more modern yet hopefully people will notice is a robin style outfit. The mask I just drew it that way cause it was the style i was making before. I think I may do a tim drake style. CC welcomed

Re: Looking For TTAS Robin supplies
i too am working on trying to get a Tim Drake Robin suit (seems everyone's giving Robin a shot these days) i have a lot of ideas in mind, i don't want to give anything away and its to early to say if any of my ideas will even work. but this will be my "ultimate" Robin Tim Drake suit so it is going to take me a while to piece together and i doubt i will show pics on the board until it is all the way done. just know that it is in progress
