That's very cool. The '89 Batmobile is definitely my favorite.

You know, maybe this isn't the thread for this and maybe this is a question for jonpaul...but how exactly would owning a batmobile work? I mean, the reality of it is that I would be scared to death that someone would damage it in some way or else I would hit a curb (like Chris O'Donnell did in the filming of Forever) and mess the thing up. It's so low to the ground, just going into the driveway could damage it.

Sorry, don't mean to be a bad sport and burst bubbles but these are things I've thought about...anyone else?

The car at Movie World in Australia has hydraulic lifts to lower and highten the car from the ground level. If you could afford the car, you could probably afford to have these installed, thus entering driveways could be made easier by setting the car higher from the ground.

At movie world, they have the car set higher from the ground when being driven, and lower it when it is parked. Seems to do the trick.

Assume the hidden driver looks out through the scoop above the main cockpit?

Is this how the movie Batmobiles where made?

If you where going to drive that car you'd have to get airbags installed to raise the suspension. Although, you'll never get a plate for it.

No mirrors, headlights are to low in the front, the list goes on.

You could install cameras for the mirror problem, but the headlights are an issue.

That's a car you buy just to have sit in your toy room. To have a toy room to accomodate a batmobile you'll need a mansion. Then you can drive it around your estate.

That's my plan. ;)
