I used the armature for my Dead End cowl. I just cut the ears off with an x-acto knife. It's actually a pretty big head, but you definitely have to oversculpt.

Here is the armature I used to use. Made of high-temp epoxy/kevlar. Very hard lightweight.

It's always kind of creepy to see a life cast (to me anyway). The one I have sits on my table and freaks my cat out when it has nothing on it. It's my head and shoulders, but even whiter than the real thing! :kitty

i used monstermakers armature to try to sculpt a helmet for a custom suit i dea awhile back. I had to cut the ears off and file down the nose a bit, but other than that it worked all right
