Re: Air Bubbles on Urethane
If that's urethane, the ONLY thing you can do is contact the maker, find out exactly which urethane he used.
Once you've bought a trial sized kit of the urethane...
mix up a small batch,
then make a small hole on the inside of the cowl with a pair of small, sharp scissors,
put a piece of Scotch tape over the hole on the outside to seal it,
then with a small baby dropper, suck up some of the urethane, and shoot it into the hole from the inside.
It probably won't be perfect, but it'll be a site better than that hole.
Hope that helps.

Re: Air Bubbles on Urethane
Aquasure / Aquaseal ...Urethane based glue that remains flexible when drie...also dries clear....but can also be tinted to a colour of your choice..(you have to tint it)
Its a thick glue that is used for filling gaps and bonds very well with Urethane.

Re: Air Bubbles on Urethane
wow... that sounds cool... would this be the stuff? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Aquasure-Repairs-neoprene-wetsuits-etc-BNIB-5-85_W0QQitemZ300119048349QQihZ020QQcategoryZ71167QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
what would be used to tint it? regular urethane tint?
that sounds like it wil be a bit easier than brin's method. Ill give it a go.
Thanks Bro
Anybody got any tips on straightening urethane ears??
Thanks, Lawrence

Re: Air Bubbles on Urethane
If it can be tinted, that would definately be easier than the what I discribed.
It probably doesn't have a shrinkage factor either.
Test it first.

Re: Air Bubbles on Urethane
Yup thats the stuff if you look through this forum I posted some specs on the glue...I have tried this stuff out myself and it does work but give it a full 24 hrs to cure unless you mix it with the kicker then its cured in 2 hours
There's a topic called something like ..what type of glue or something.
