That's actually a pretty solid idea, gotta check it out... ~Mnondisclosed_email@example.com (pastadude)Mon, 01 Oct 2007 01:07:59 +0000 Re: Latex Robin Collars?https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056829,from=rss#post2056829https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056829,from=rss#post2056829Brin speaks wisely. I put together a Robin suit for my buddy for when we do our appearances, and used the bottom half of a Sonar cowl. it works fine and looks good. it's by no means accurate, but it works. especially on a budget. and the other choice would be to follow Markus's advice and contact the RPAC. here's a pic of the one I use nondisclosed_email@example.com (JamesTheBatman)Sun, 30 Sep 2007 10:14:19 +0000 Re: Latex Robin Collars?https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056780,from=rss#post2056780https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056780,from=rss#post2056780Hey Brin, I thought about doing just that, but was worried about the fit... most cowls (the non-rubies ones, anyway) are designed to pull on over the head, so wouldn't that make it a bit large sitting around the neck? I suppose I could add a slit, but then I'd be worried about making the sides line up... Guess it'd just be a matter of taking my time? ~Mnondisclosed_email@example.com (pastadude)Sat, 29 Sep 2007 21:10:42 +0000 Re: Latex Robin Collars?https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056764,from=rss#post2056764https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056764,from=rss#post2056764The collar on that suit is beautiful, but can I suggest another possibilty? I have in the past created a collar by cutting the upper head part of a cowl off. If you can get one of the bros to part with a cowl that might be flawed up top, you can have a perfect Robin collar. -Brinnondisclosed_email@example.com (Brin Londo)Sat, 29 Sep 2007 19:44:26 +0000 Re: Latex Robin Collars?https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056754,from=rss#post2056754https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2056754,from=rss#post2056754Jay at RPAC does the Collar, You can contact him at the link below.
