Eye Makeup Removal
I am getting ready to do an appearance in a few hrs. and wanted to ask what everyone uses for the black paint and whats best for removal? I usually use black grease paint and alcohol pads :firemad that puts a little flame in ya! However I never can get the paint off right around the edges of the eyes and look like Lawrence of Arabia for 2-3 days.

Re: eye make-up remover?
I used eyeblack that football players use. It works well...but it will smear. If you use it just put it on...put on your cowl and touch up if any smears.
I used a baby wipe to get it off and it works perfect. Plus it is perfect black. easy to apply, easy to remove.

Re: eye make-up remover?
Petroleum jelly will work, too. To get it off from around your eyes gently rub a little on with your fingertips, then use q-tips to wipe it off. Slowly spinning the q-tip around as you go down the line helps it come off better.

Re: eye make-up remover?
Hey use a dry terry-cloth towel to wipe it off, then hoy water to get it out of your pores. It'll come off easier if you'
ve been sweating into it for a while :) I avoid cold-cream but it does work, just remember a little goes a long way!

I find that some mineral oil on a cotton ball works very well.

Re: eye make-up remover?
Thanks everyone for your input. The Family Funfest went over really well. I probably had around 100 photos with the kiddies I am now well aware why I only put on the costume in October :shootme I was able to remove the eye makeup easily.....probably because I shed 10 lbs. in 2 hrs.

Re: eye make-up remover? pic added
I use wet wipes for the first part. Knocks off the bulk of it. To get rid of the black risiduals around the eyes and the tough stuff that just won't come out I use my wife's Mark K make up remover.
Say what you will but the stuff works awesome and does NOT burn the eyes or skin and cleans it 100% off.
I hate going into public after an appearance and it looks like I'm in a goth band or something with the black eyeliner look or my eyebrows stained black. My wife suggested it and now she wishes she didn't because that's all I use now. Great stuff.
