Re: ** TDK Base gloves identified! **
Yep definitely something to consider then. I'll probably buy some oil-based clay and see what I come up with before I get a smooth-on kit.
One question for those who have the Tarmac v.2's and who taken off the rubber plate/knuckle protector - is there a whole in the mesh? One of the picture's earlier on in the threat shows for sure an indentation (from where the rubber had been stitched in) or, in the worst case, a portion of mesh missing? Just thought I'd ask before I start taking mine a part.

I got my Scorpions today and they are superb. The palm has no white stitching. But they do have these little rubber "dots" that are transparent that will be tough or impossible to remove. Also not sure about how to remove the knuckle logo yet.

Kevin,
Can you post some pics of your new gloves?
Jason.

What you could do is sculpt your new knuckle guards to go on top of the existing logo. Cast them so that the bottom of the new guards are a negative of the existing guard. That way, they would fit right on top; with a little supa-glu and you are in biz!

It's probably like the Tarmacs where you can just rip the seam holding the knuckle guard in place. It looks like it would take about 5 minutes to do.
