Re: Voice/Theatrics in Costume

Less is more.
Expesually when some people who are jealous of your suit come up to you giving you a hard time. (Those people do it because they are jealous) You can drive them nuts when they are trying to give you a hard time & your just standing there looking at them. when they are trying to get you to crack & break character (That's what they want is for you to break character)

I usually will open up & say a few things to kids though.

Re: Voice/Theatrics in Costume

ehhh i never had a problem with people giving me hard time.

Actually a group of young hood kids were trying to call me out for being " all rib cage! and no chest" as they were yelling, while i posed with some kids outside. I was about to walk up to them and do a peck jiggle to shut them up, but they were too far and i didnt care anymore. Man if you ever want to build confidence walk around in public in costume, i just dont care anymore, i know my gear looks good and i do too lol.

Re: Voice/Theatrics in Costume

Wearing the Keaton, I try to get my voice gritty; in the fabric suit, I channel Adam West and Clooney a bit more.

as for theatrics.... Depends on what kind of mood I'm in :P

I'd never try acrobatics unless I knew both myself and the costume would survive...

I've had nightmares of doing a coreographed stunt and my belt/cowl/armor/etc falls apart somehow.
