Re: TDK Joker Knife for your costumes
I've seen these even cheaper than that from some of the knife wholesalers. The lowest has been about $10-$15. But, now that TDK is coming out, these are likely to get really popular & therefore, the price will go up & up. I should probably break down & get one of these for my switchblade collection... I don't have any single action front openers. I LOVE automatic & spring assisted knives & am building a nice collection.

Re: TDK Joker Knife for your costumes
Just a word of warning to those considering buying an automatic knife: If this is a true OTF automatic knife and not just spring assisted, it is illegal in some states (unless you're a member of law enforcement or, in some states, disabled)... not that too many websites bother to check what state you're placing the order from. Just make sure you don't get arrested for breaking any laws while actually being dressed up like the Joker.

Re: TDK Joker Knife for your costumes
I have two of those Begins looking double ended knives. It has to be one of the sharpest knives I've ever owned. You can cut yourself just looking at the thing :). It's a nice novelty pieces. I wish it was an automatic, which would make it just perfect!
And yes, before CARRYING an automatic knife, be sure you know your local laws. Most places don't prohibit you from owning them (however there are some that do) as a collector, but there are usually very strict laws regarding carrying them - especially concealed. So all you Jokers be careful!
Here is a nice overview of where they are legal and illegal:
