Re: Possible TDK Undersuit fabric lead?

A lot of these are great options and close enough for most of our needs. They're still not the same as the screen fabric but who cares.

But I am sure we will be seeing that screen fabric real soon. emoticon

And as soon as we do, I will be first in line to buy it.

I've looked closely and you can see that at certain areas of the suit such as the knees the fabric is bunched up to allow movement.

Well, if you take another look (and this has been discussed before) you'll see a different material has been used around most joints, and that material is probably very stetchy.

I posted this material a few months ago:

The mesh is a little too small, but it is polyester-based (not foam) and slightly stretchy. It also has a backing fabric making it completely opaque but it still breathes extremely well- so much so that some kind of thin cotton undersuit will be needed if it's cold. I have a batch of it that I'll be covering with silver/grey paint as you can see in the second image.
