Finishing a Foam Keaton Returns Bust

Hi everyone. I got this sweet foam Michael Keaton head a while back and I'm about to start completing it.

Obviously, I need to black out the eye area. What should I use? Paint, makeup? What do you think? I assure you that the eyes don't look that blue in person. It's the flash on the camera.

Also, do you all think I should add fake eyelashes to it to make it look more real? I'm interested in any suggestions that you might have to make it more realistic.

Your going to want to use a paint that's ok for whatever the face coat of the lifecast is. Thin it out and build it up in transparent layers to give it the makeup look. Are those glass eyes? I'd also add a few more fleshy colors to the face to break it up. And eyelashes would definately add to the piece if they're done tastefully, don't just get a set of big thick fake eye lashes...

Jason,if it's resin and you plan to use it exclusively for this, paint it. Tamiya flat black would work well.
If it's a silicone head,or something like that,I'd say makeup.

Also,I don't know if it's too late to do this or not since they're colored already, but for his eyes do a wash of red/white/flesh mixture to simulate the 'blood-shot' look around the eyeball. Look in the mirror at your own eyes for reference.
When you're satisfied, give them a coat of clear epoxy and they'll look real.

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I think it's silicone. It's soft and squishy with foam inside. Definetly not resin. I got it from, he who must not be named. lol

If it is silicone the best way to paint it permanently is with more silicone. One method is thinned down translucent silicone caulking with oil paint as pigment, it does the trick very well. You can use most solvents to thin the caulking, naptha etc. Just make sure you get 100% silicone caulking, wal-mart carries the right stuff.
