Removing glue/contact cement from spandex.

Hey [sign in to see URL] removed a plasti-dipped emblem from my comic suit, which had been applied via contact cement. I'm ready to put down the new logo, but I can't get the damn contact cement off of the areas that it would show. Can anyone help out?

Re: Removing glue/contact cement from spandex top???

I used Goo Gone Xtreme to remove a logo on mine. It would probably work, but it smells pretty bad. This is the stuff in a metal can, not the orange spray, same stuff as Oops. I would test it first, it didn't cause discoloration on my suits, but you may want to make sure it won't on yours.

Yup, that's about the best you're gonna do. Then wash the suit, probably several times, to get the smell out.

I had to wash mine about 5 times to get the smell out, twice with Odoban. But wash it in cold and gentle, and don't throw 'em in the dryer!
