Re: REEVZ "Dead End" cowl sculpt
Shawn,
Other than what is inobvious to me and the 25" head circumference, what will be the main difference between this and your other Dead End? I do love all your cowls but his one seems redundant. Was it the commission or are you that OCD. :rollin By the way the wife convinced me to go to a children's fair today for my remaining preschooler and I wore your 89 cowl. It was a tossup between my spandex and the Brin Begins with Black emblem chest or my spandex with your 89 with a yellow and black bat emblem....the silicone not the rubber hit the road and I suited up in the 89. It, as well as all your others, is a fantastic cowl and I recieved many compliments on it, that and my herolike manly physique, especially from my old lady.:guitar I am also strongly considering getting your Hush jobie..

Re: REEVZ "Dead End" cowl sculpt
The Dead End cowl I did 4 years ago was my 1st attempt at sculpting, molding or casting...lots of figuring out what to do whet into that cowl...it was done on a Monster Makers armature and at the time it came out better then I had hoped for my 1st try...as a fan of that style cowl ( the angry look) I would infuse the flavor of the DE cowl into my own style, I think they make a more interesting cowl rather than just an expressionless helmet( 89/Returns cowl being the exception, I like those...:p
This new sculpt is a commission for the same guy I did the Wolverine cowl for...he liked my 1st DE, but wanted something more accurate looking to the actual cowl...it's what the client wants, I'm glad to do it again
I have another Bat cowl commission coming up very soon that will be done like the Garcia Lopez style
and Shadowbat if you'd like see an Aparo cowl you can be the 1st to commission one :nahnah

That ought to be cool. Look forward to seeing that one. Youve done a Lee style and the upcoming Lopez one.
Wouldnt it be cool to do a series of cowls based on comic art?

Re: REEVZ "Dead End" cowl sculpt
I'm very eager to start the Garcia Lopez style cowl, THAT will be a fun one to sculpt ...I'd also love to do a Norm Breyfogle style cowl too( he's my fav!)

Re: REEVZ "Dead End" cowl sculpt
Breyfogle would be a challenge, I think, due to his almost simplistic cowl design.
