1) Why the different chest emblem?

2) Why was the collar of the cowl so big, extending nearly from shoulder to shoulder?

Why didn't any of these creator ever try a cape with a neck and only a half cowl, it would have worked a lot better, no?

Something I never realised was how tight the schedule was for the 89 suit.

Six weeks.

No time for mock ups, no time for much testing.

It went from concept to finished product in six weeks and the crew was tiny. They were fixing problems as they went.I'm amazed they even pulled it off.

More surprises to come, the article will be out next week, pending some last minute questions, so make 'em good.

Why did they choose to have the cowl be textured the way it was (roughly) and the body suit pieces textured smoothly?

6 weeks to put it together?! Geeze, that's pretty incredible considering the pressure they must've been under.

Oh man... I guess I'll ask 'em all and hope one or two make it on your list :)

1) I've heard they made the foam latex pieces very thick and dense, and it was very heavy. Why didn't they make the foam lighter and more aerated to help keep the suit weight down?

2) When fitting the suits for Micheal and the stunt suits for Dave, did they use the amror from Keaton's bodymold on Dave or did they re-core the mold with Dave's bodymold to improve fitment? I have seen the stunt suits in Returns and the glue & fit just seems "off".

3) Did they ever have any issues on set with the costume being too hot or bulky etc. for Michael to wear, and if so, did it ever affect production? (scenes cut or cut short?)

4) Why did they choose to use Nikes as a base shoe, when traditionally the Bat-boots from all the prior costumes (comics) were more boot-like and simple?

5) How long did it take for them to fully suit-up, and also dress-down, Mr. Keaton? Is it true they used to touch-up the paint on the suit while he was wearing it?

6) What kind of harness was used under the costume for the multiple scenes where Batman is "on the wire" so to speak?

I guess I'll cool my jets for now, sorry PJ!

I don't know if its an actual suit question but did Michael Keaton actually get a chin appliance to bring out his chin when it was under the cowl?
