Arkham Asylum Cowl sculpt. Mold started PG.4
Hey all,
It's been a while since I posted anything that I've been working on so here's the newest thing.
This is my take on the Arkham cowl. It's taken me a couple of weeks to get to the point that I'm happy with. It's more detailed than the 89 which is the only other thing I sculpted and I'm getting used to new clay. There's still a lot to do and I go back and forth on whether I like the brow or not. They don't really match in the game but I may even them up a little more still, who knows. Every time I work on it I change something else.
This one will be a silicone mold for urethane. After doing the 89 cowl in latex I wanna try something new.
Once I have a master of this one I'll be adding detail to make the "armored" version that you unlock at the end of the game.
On to the pics, as always, let me know what you think :-)

Re: Arkham Asylum Cowl sculpt WIP
Thanks guys, it means a lot coming from you two :up
David, I'm using Chavant LBT. I love it, it holds detail well but doesn't take forever to make it workable.

Re: Arkham Asylum Cowl sculpt WIP
That really looks good! Lots of details in this one, man. It looks great so far. Only thing I would look at messing with would be to try and get the details a bit more crisp, and work the ears a little bit (Maybee make them thinner). This is looking really good though. Especially for it only being your second sculpt. :up

Re: Arkham Asylum Cowl sculpt WIP
Looks really good Nat. Very impressive for your second sculpt. Just check the "V" on the collar. It looks slightly off with the middle of the chin (Might be the angle of the pic too).
Otherwise, waiting in anticipation. Fit a 22 inch head?

Re: Arkham Asylum Cowl sculpt WIP
This is still a work in progress so the things pointed out will be addressed as I finish working on it.
Thanks for the comments and feedback. I dont think the ears need to be thinner, in the game theyre pretty big and wide. They need matching up though :lol
I'll be working on this later on so hopefully I can match things up better. Haven't figured out how Ill do the stitching on the rim yet but I think it needs to be there.
Paul, yup 22" no problem :)
Thanks again all, I really appreciate it :cheers
