Re: Bat in the Suns CITY OF SCARS RELEASED
Did anyone else get a chill in the last scene of the film?
Dear god if they cast a guy like this for nolans films then go grey suit all the way.
Time to pack on 20 lbs of muscle and grab some spandex after seeing that.

Yeah, that guy's a friggin' MOOSE! He certainly makes the grey suit look very menacing... Pulled it off perfectly. Hollywood could really learn something from the way these guys portray a good old comic style Batman.

Re: Bat in the Suns CITY OF SCARS RELEASED
Just watched it. I thought it was pretty good. Very Batman:TAS. Didn't care for the chest emblem, but that is about my only major complaint for the suit, well, that and the seam showed a bit too much.
This guy is by far a better Batman than Bale could ever hope to be. Nice Batman voice. Wish it was longer a bit more fleshed out. Didn't find it nessacary to kill off the Joker, but over all, I really enjoyed it. I would love to see a big budget Batfilm like this. That guy was a lot scarier and lot more believeable in tights than jackass Bale in a rubber suit. True story.

Re: Bat in the Suns CITY OF SCARS RELEASED
I really liked the atmosphere of this short. It was very well done. However I really don't like the voice of the guy playing Bats, it was a little......off IMO. Other then that it was pretty good. I really think they should get someone like a young Clint Eastwood to play Bats....i really cant think of anyone like that anymore though.....unfortunate.

I realize that is your opinion, but I thought the voice sounded a lot like Conroy's voice from the animated series.
Much, much better than Bale's wanna be Eastwood style "swear to me" crap!

Re: Bat in the Suns CITY OF SCARS RELEASED
Am I the only one here who doesn't think Batman should be....I dunno...artsy? He seemed kinda like a cry baby. It's like Aaron said "Dark Knight wasn't gritty or dark enough for me - I need to angst this **** up more, even if I have to do it myself."
It's like Shakespeare put on a Batman costume and went to work. Batman isn't a poet and he hasn't lost hope for humanity as he keeps being portrayed in these films. Kudos for it being well shot and acted with an original score...but he's looking too much into what Batman portrays.
Good work on the costumes/music/acting though. Just the story/dialouge doesn't work for me.
