Re: begins closet
Bob's sculpts are amazing. I'm especially astonished by how sharp that torso looks.
Oh and nice setup, can't wait to see it stained :up

Re: begins closet
i still need some advice on the doors.
i have a set of dummy door handles that are brass, long and wavy.
i'm just not sure where to place them and what else to do to "dress up" the front.
i want to put a lock on it but i want it to look nice.
any ideas or drawings would be appreciated! :huh

Re: begins closet
Find the nearest junk shop and buy the cheapest oldest wardrobe doors you can find.
Papier mache mouldings glued/varnished on to add authentic detail.
or
No reason why you cant laminate the image of the screen one on to mdf or chipboard. You could laminate the image of the inside lock mechanism and save making that too
/end brainfart.

there really is a lot more to it than I had remembered or could see in the film. Those pics/stills are awesome.

Re: begins closet
The inlays on the bottom of the doors would really have been made of papier mache with mother of pearl details. The bottoms of two tomato crates and some paint could nail it.
I wouldn't worry about screen accurate on the outside as your display would be just as effective being diguised to fit in wherever you want it.

Re: begins closet
Good looking closet bro and great looking suit. I made my side pieces, boot and gaunt holders out of wood and made them look like metal. I may still have the pattern if you're interested? I should be able to scan it in. Also, the holes I just made with proper size hole saw bits for my drill. You can get them at Home Depot.
