It looks very good. Try it out so we can see it better, a soft and thin cowl should hold it's shape better on someone's head. no?

Re: From clump to cowl, the 3 stages of my AA cowl.

Thanks you guys. Rock, it does hold it's shape perfectly on my face, just not for display unless it's padded. I'll be casting a thicker one in a couple of days so I'll post photos of me wearing that one. I know where to cast it thicker now so it sits better.

This one needs padding at the top of the head.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it means a lot after years of seeing everyone else build stuff.

Inspiring. :up

So how did you finally fix the flaws in the mold? Great job on that, btw.

Re: From clump to cowl, the 3 stages of my AA cowl.

Thanks guys!

Kevin, I just dabbed silicone into the holes like Ed and yourself suggested. Rubbed it smooth with a wet finger. There is an area around the back of the ear that I redid yesterday, Ill cast a thin area of urethane over it tomorrow and see how it came out.

If I'm not happy with it I'll remold after all. Seeing a flaw in every one will piss me off forever :lol

Gary,
I got no problem making extras if people want one :cheers

This one actually has flaws on the ear tips but you cant tell unless you look closely.

I said it before, that's a nice looking cowl. I'm jealous because I really want to sculpt again, but space is a big issue.

That looks great! Amazing job on this man. I'd say that came out really really good considering the issue you had with the silicone. Well done! :cheers
