Some new tumbler driving pics thanks to German camera crew

Camera crew came over from Germany to shoot my car, they were kind enough to shoot some stuff with my camera, so I'd have something decent to post.

Now THAT's awesome - a Tumbler owner that isn't afraid to let the vehicle be actually interacted with in the real world. I love that the crew is on the vehicle... rather than being afraid to even touch it. That's what a real Tumbler should be built for. emoticon

Oh, and awesome vehicle too. Once I'm done with my BatBusa they'd look great together (doing some converting already to a Batman black and should have some bodywork conversion done early next year).

A question about yours or any other Tumblers: has anyone been able to license their Tumbler for a plate and the road? Are these entirely from the ground up one offs or are some of them built off actual street frames and engines and drivelines with the body being constructed around them?

HeroDreams. Somewhere in the archives you can follow Bob's progress on his Tumbler. It is all scratch built from the ground up. Pretty freakin amazing!

much thanks all.
Yes, you can't really build an accurate tumbler with a donor chassis, or much of anything donor cept' the tires/engine/trans.
the engine HAS to be mounted in reverse, unless you just wanna skip the accuracy part of the build, so then you have to come up with a way to drive the driveshaft under the engine/trans. This is not a build for the faint of heart. Infinte no. parts to build.
Oh, and interco(super swampers) went out of buisiness. so if you are going to build an accurate tumbler you will need these, and once they're gone, they're gone.
