batman begins advanced infantry armor
hi all,
I want to thank everyone here for giving me the inspiration to make this.
this is my first attempt at building a suit,
its been made so far using 1/8 inch card stock and 1/16th inch card stock.
I made templates of each piece with graph paper, then transferred to the card and made scribes where my bends were going to be.
the backing is held together by duct tape and will be eventually backed by speaker material to hold everything together.
here it is

I have already picked up a small can of bondo, I'll be giving everything a skim coat, sanding, then scribing any necessary details, then priming, painting and clear coating with a matte finish

:up
I would never have thought of using cardboard for a suit. But that's what makes this place so awesome, the creativity & resourcefulness.
