Hmmm.. It did fine for me when i used it to paint my latex 89 cowl (which was cast with no pigment). 4 coats tops. Thinned with ammonia.
Never used it on a spandex under suit though. I imagined it would have done the trick as well. But if you said you tried and failed, well I'll take your word for it.
There are spray guns made specially for latex, but its going to cost much more than that purple one. And you will need a bigger compressor.

Gotta say you guys couldn't be more helpful. I've been to other places on the web where that sentiment did not ring true. Thanks for all of the great advice. Anybody ever apply latex using foam brushes? I don't have an air compressor right now and I'm guessing they are not cheap....
