Re: My new Arkham suit
That's gotta be one of my favorite arkham suits to date! Looks awesome! For the longest time I've wanted to try doing fabric covered armor segments to give the bodysuit a little bit of a textured 3D look but other than that this ROCKS!
On a side note, whose the Superman in that picture? Is he a member here?

Re: My new Arkham suit
That is absolutely stellar! :up :up :up
My only nitpick is with the muscle suit. It looks very convincing other than the quads. That seems to be common with all his muscle suits.

Re: My new Arkham suit
Agree with all the comments so far, crazy cool suit, love the pattern/texture, but quads need work
Where did you get your cape?

Re: My new Arkham suit
It is one of Brad's suits. I definitely love it. I know as far as the quads are concerned it was suggested j try compression shorts or I may use ace wrap to try and slim them down since it's only foam.
The cape is my own pattern. I used the cape tutorial as a reference and algebra :)
Actually it was more geometry. Kind of hard to explain but I figured out how many panels I wanted and using a circle how much of that circle I wanted go fill. I ended up going with slightly more than half. I treated each pie slice as an isosceles triangle and calculate the angles. With the angles and one leg I was able to figure out the rest and figure out the exact curve of the scallop. Instead of placing my head in the middle I placed it slightly forward of the center of the circle. The two end panels of the cape have a slightly longer point exactly as the flying the cape but identical. The hardest part were the front shoulder pieces. The smallest part but the most difficult. The whole thing weighs less than my velveteen cape used on my begins suit. I compared it to John Whitt's cape and even though mine looked heavier it wasn't. There are just four snaps in the front under the cowl to secure it. The cowl sits on my neck and shoulders perfectly so no need for Velcro. The whole thing was measured and cut perfectly for my height (6'2). I do have some work in progress pics of my cape I posted on my Facebook page. I know this sounds like a lot but using math and your height I was able to figure it all out and my friend baronvonken did the sewing.
