Don't know if you've considered it, but the Rubies belt from the show is not too bad. (I'm using one for my upcoming project). It's kid-sized, but just get two & add however many more links you need.

Are you going for the white eyes?

For now I'll go for a hybrid, with a pouched belt that I already have. But I'll eventually get myself a belt from Max ([sign in to see URL])
I was talking to him about one about a year ago, I may just go for it soon.

You beat me to the punch Rock. I have been doing one of these on and off for about a year, using a modified Rubies cowl. I have always believed the Hush cowl is perfect for this suit, but unfortunately mine won't be here for about 4 weeks. I am also curious if you will be doing the white lenses for this. Looks great so far BTW.

Had some fun tonight with it, trying on the belts I already have here.
As for the white lens, I don't believe I'll be able to do [sign in to see URL] is, my eyelashes are long, like girl eyelashes, and they always end up in the way everytime I try and make white lens. So, for now it's not in the plans.

With my UD belt.

With my comic/Ross belt.

Quite frankly, I like it with the Comic belt!

I like the Ross belt.

I know I read or saw it somewhere, that the concept of the cowl for 'The Batman' was that it was bowel shaped, not like traditional cowls.

If you opt for that be careful trying bowels on at your local Wal-mart. They probably wouldn't understand.

Actually my Wal-mart has gotten used to that kind of thing out of me. I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing.

My bad. I get typing to fast sometimes and my fingers get way ahead of me.

If you watch the cartoon and you see the side shots you'll see the bowl concept in action.

Anyway you look at it, nice suit.

Laban is now the artist in charge of making the belt and emblem for me. after seeing what he did for his Batgirl belt, I had to give him a call.

We'll see how it goes.

Sounds exciting

I think you will be even more happy with the new belt too as I think both belts you tried on works. However, it's still lacks that "wow" factor that completes the look

The belt is resin pods and buckle with a pleather belt, I [sign in to see URL] didn't get them yet.
The emblem is urethane.
The gauntlets are a shore 20 urethane core with a 50 shore outer. It's a stretch to fit closure yes, but for small forearms. It barely fit Laban's normal forearms. (Mine are small as all hell)

That all looks amazing, very clean work. I totally understand the forearm business, :lol I may need to look into those gauntlets if more will be made.

The Gauntlet/vambraces were actually made to fit a member of the Heroes Alliance UK for a charity appearance.

They're VERY tight on a male arm, unless you remove the front band - which TBH would make them perfect for Damian Wayne Robin or Dick Grayson batman.

They have elastic inlaid into the urethane, so they do flex (not by much but enough to slowly work your hand through).

Got my parts from Laban Boldero!

Outstanding work. The belt is just perfect. The gloves fit very well and the emblem is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Gloves and belt.

Emblem and belt together.
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

Belt seems very, very sturdy. You literally feel like it could take a beating and keep going. 2 layers of yellow pleather professionally sewed by the great Jaz Law Boldero with resin pods and a custom resin buckle by Laban Boldero

The emblem was hand sculpted by Laban, and casted in soft shore Urethane. a true beauty.

...if you can't tell, I'm really happy about this and recommend Laban to all of you!
