the problem with the morph suit I wear is that it covers the hands which makes practical matters like donning the rest of the costume difficult. So I decided to make the gloves of the morph suit fingerless.Image

Batfan,

That has come out really well. Those Halloween pics are very cool indeed and the suit looks awesome on you. I personally think you did a great job on that cowl and it looks wonderful.

Nothing like wearing a batsuit for the first time.

I kept the fingers on the morph suit, removed the head, shortened zipper and added zipper in crotch. It turned out great. I could take a leak and use my iPhone with my gauntlet pulled off. The morph suit was thin enough to let the conduciveness of my fingers work on my iPhone.

Suit turned out great. I agree the Rubies cowl is a BIG let down. I felt the same way having the same cowl. I am planning my upgrades now and the cowl is the first to go.

I bought a bat symbol projector torch online and decided to make a pouch for it on my utility belt out of a marker pen and a scrap of yellow leather. I like the look of it so much I might buy a laser pen of a similar size to sit on the other side of the belt buckle.

The whole suit looks really good and the projector light addition is really cool.

What kind of rubber are the ears? I have my suspicions. I like to ask about this because I need rubber myself that is hard to tear.

Hi leading edge design, are you referring to the ears of the cowl, if so they're not rubber? I cut up a hard plastic rubies mask and inserted the ears inside the cowl ears, then used expanding foam to fill them out. I hope this answers your question?
