Re: Best Movie Suit
I didn't like the Begins at all until I saw Davids chest sculpt and that part of it made sense.
BUT,
If given the choice between slash proof police gloves or detergent proof washing-up gloves which would Batman 'really' choose?

Re: Best Movie Suit
When I was twelve, there was pervasive hype about this movie...I think it was called "Batman."
I began reading all the comics I could. I fell in love with the world of a dark, weird creature of the night, a man who struck fear into the hearts of criminals, a cowardly and superstitious lot.
The Batman leaped from the pages into my imagination, given life by the pencil of the likes of Adams, Rogers, Aparo, Breyfogle, Nolan (the first Nolan associated with the character!) and others.
And then I saw this creature of the night come to life...in live action.

Re: Best Movie Suit
I like both '89 and Begins, but I think that pic above is a reminder that Burton and co. shot and lit their suits the most beautifully, hands down. That added a lot to the presence of Batman, something I felt was a little bit lacking in Begins & TDK. Burton's Batman felt very intense just standing there.
