Dijon: Yes use it for your piece. I call it Plastigripping because Super Grip when cured is still sticky and may flake off over time so it is necessary to seal it with Plastidip. I have read the safety sheets for both products and both are non toxic, non skin absorbent and inert when fully cured.

Have a couple cans on their way via mail as was unable to find locally. Your final suit looks fantastic. Again, I am very impressed and look forward to trying this out. Keep up the innovation.

Re: UPDATE: Plastigripped Fabric Arkham Body suit - Full Suit page 8

Awesome thanks guys means a lot to get some praise. Up next I am trying my hand at sculpting the cowl. I was going to go with a 3D print for symmetry but funds are a little low after purchasing my rubber products for casting.

I took a trip to smooth on last Friday in PA as I am in NY. They were very nice and I left with a gallon of vytaflex 20 and a brush on silicone. I found out that silicone is inhibited when poured into a urethane mold, meaning that it won't cure in the mold. So can only go one way with that one though I did see once that David P casted some leg armor out of a platinum silicone in a urethane mold don't how he did that. :doh

Anyway, I also discovered that the applications for rubberizing fabric with professional materials is nearly limitless. So going forward for the next Arkham suit I may be making a grid mold to texture the fabric before it is sewn. For now though I am working hard on making that cowl really flexible!

Dijon go for it! Multiple cans may be necessary and feel free to message me anytime with questions. A point to consider is that super grip is basically rubber cement formulaically. What is special about it is that it is tactified for gripping a floor, an aspect we do not have need for in this application. So...if you can find a way to get rubber cement in aerosol form that may be a cheaper and suitable alternative. Or just brush on the cement and spray away with Plastidip.

Have fun my friends and I will start a new thread for the cowl progress.

Thanks again brothers! (and sisters :toocool - Selina)
