Re: guitars and other things you play
Nice to see what you guys play. I'm a trumpet player here. Loud and proud! It's a Professional series, model YTR-6335. I love to play jazz music.
I also started to learn how to play the electric guitar, but I never got past the basics. It's something I'd like to start again later on down the road. I think the trombone would be fun to learn as well.

That instrument takes a LOT of practice to get it nice and smooth, great practice discipline!
VERY cool and Yamaha does a great job making their instruments and amps, etc. I still have my first Yamaha 30 watt amp from the 70's, which is solid state but does a great job in sounding like a scorching tube amp - the amps most sought after by rockers in the 70's and pre-70's.

Re: guitars and other things you play
Been playing guitar for 12 or 13 years now. Have an ibanez 7 string 1527, two g&l Jerry Cantrell signature rampages, Ibanez acoustic electric and ESP Ltd m100 project.
Sorry for any members offended by the one blue dress g&l guitar, both are replicas of Jerry's personal guitars.

It sure does take a lot of practice! It's very rewarding though. I've been playing it for about 8 years now. My favorite thing to do is to play while using a Harmon mute. It gives it a cool "wah-wah" jazzy sound.

Those wah-wah effects are cool.

Re: guitars and other things you play
I've been playing guitar for about 20 years...can't believe it's been that long already... right now I only have 3 guitars.
I also play some bass guitar, drums and I've been playing some piano also but I still got a long way to go with the piano

I like how you mentioned you ONLY have 3 guitars right now. Classic!
The piano is quite a monster to master, indeed but it gives a lot of insight to clearly picturing chords and scales, of course.
Drums are so much fun, but I have a long way to go on them. 'Temped by those electronic drumkits with hundreds of settings and headphones.
