Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
Finished up the replication of the drivers side work for the Bat-disc door and speaker boxes on the passenger side of the car.
Today will be some more fiberglass work on the canopy vents

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
I was able to make some pretty good progress on the canopy vents yesterday.
Hopefully one more solid day of work will get them attached back into the body shell.

Lately this is about the only thread I'm looking at here. I love the progress and fantastic craftsmanship.

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
I finished some more of the canopy vent fiberglass fabrication today. Overall I made some pretty good progress
The only problem is that I tweaked a back muscle/nerve lifting the canopy :(

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
After a couple days of resting my back I was able to get back into the garage and do some work that didn't involve lifting.
I gotta say, it felt really good to continue to make forward progress! Yesterday's project was working on some dashboard fabrication.

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
I made some more progress on the dash lid today even though it was only 13 degrees out. I need some more heat to help the fiberglass resin to cure!
Looks like there are some 18-19 degree days coming up, so I'll have to take advantage of those days as much as possible.

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
I was able to finish off the electronics rack for the BatBerrry yesterday morning.
Nothing is wired together, but everything is fabricated and all the electronics are securely mounted.

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
I spent the afternoon yesterday in glorious 18 degree weather which allowed me to do some fiberglass work.
Yesterday's goal... shaping the canopy to fit properly

Re: The BatBerry: My 89 Batmobile controlled by my BlackBerry
I was able to work on a few different fiberglass projects yesterday in the beautiful weather and I was finally able to finish off one pesky project.
The trunk lid vents are now all sealed in and should be nice and water tight. I'll have more on the other projects later :)
