Reznor9's Batman: Arkham Origins Build

Note: final build pics of ORIGINS V1 are on page 4

NOTE: Version 2 of my Origins costume has begun on page 8 for those interested. I will be doing a complete rebuild of the armor. Since I have no deadline on this I will be taking my time and adding more detail into its construction. Thanks for viewing.

Just wanted to show what I have created so far for my Batman Arkham Origins project. Using EVA foam as my base material, plastidip, and a couple accessories such as bolt heads, velcro and elastic. Been working on it off and on for about 2-3 weeks and it's still a work in progress but hoping to finish it off by halloween.

Thanks man! I don't have the most recent pics yet. But here are a couple after I completed my first gauntlet 2 days ago.

Thanks man. I'm loving your build as well. Your cowl has me in awe. I totally want to build that. The extra details you put into it really set it off!

Thank you. It's been a lot of trial and error in the beginning as I first became accustomed to how the foam works and how it reacts to heat, paint and different types of glue. I'm still learning as different thicknesses react differently as well. But watching youtube videos, reading tutorials and getting help from people like Floyd(thanks man) have really been the most valuable of tools.
As far as a tutorial goes I have a more detailed thread about the build process at theRPF. I can maybe copy and paste the highlights of the build process if I can narrate them in an interesting way. Anyhow, thanks for your kind words. I appreciate it. Can't wait to finish this thing.

Still working on it. But decided I have enough completed to wear it out last night for a test run.
