Super cool! I think I've established that the Origins suit is one of my favorites, so seeing this is awesome!

Good job with the build :cheers

There's no doubt that this is spot on work

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your compliments. I still need to finish up with the arm and leg armor. Hopefully the neck too if time permits. On a side note my wife and i won the costume contest that night. That's her dressed up as maleficent. She made her own costume to include molding out the horns.
Next I'm also thinking of slapping down some paint to try and give the armor a battle torn look.

Congrats on winning the contest! What was the grand prize? Your wife did a great job on her costume too! So what do you plan to do with your batsuit neck?

Today I started experimenting with painting techniques to see if I could make the armor look abused and battle worn. I started with the gauntlets, just dry brushing the edges with a mixture of black and white acrylic paint and I like the results. What do you guys think? Probably going to do the rest of the armor tonight.

The gauntlets on the Arkham games are sick. You did a great job on making them look beaten. Awesome build.

They do look good roughed up. I like how it looks roughed on the sides of the gauntlets. Looks like they have been "caught" on to something during a brawl :)

Thanks guys. I'm also doing some more work to the shin guards. Added the scuffed metal effect and am currently putting on some more elastic strapping to pull it more flush to the boot.

Added the same scuffed look to the chest armor and shoulders.

Looking great! :up

There's definitely more of a flare to them with the scuffed metal effect.

Nice job.
