I always enjoy ALL '89 suit progress shots.

You are doing VERY well and I love to see all
QUALITY suits as you have assembled.

The '89 is one of THE invisible hand-shake, high five (from CA) on this planet today and always.

In addition, here's the cape harness blue print I created for my own suit. You can print it out at 100% (make sure your printer settings are set in landscape and not in portrait mode), cut it out and use it as a stencil. It should be only slightly smaller than the 89 emblem to hide the edges.
The flaps that attaches to the cape can be modified to your liking, depending on how high or low the harness has to sit, in accordance to your own height. Hope this helps ya.

]my cape harness blue print.

Great info Nar!

You have to make sure when you open the file in adobe acrobat, to set it at 100%. Sometimes, adobe acrobat with set the image at half or 60% it's actual size when printing. Also set it to landscape mode. (open the file. It should automatically load in adobe acrobat reader if you have it installed). Up on the tool bar, it should say "automatic zoom". Click on that and select 100%.
Do a print preview and make sure it's also at 100%. I just did it and it worked for me.

I'm doing it off my android and it didn't give me that option, maybe that's why .it prints very big.

Also any input or tips on how to make and attach boot tops? Then I can finally day I'm some with the suit.

I attached my boot tops with strong super glue after prepping the surface. If you can get them stitched on, that would be ideal.
But I had no access to a leather-smith, so I simply but carefully, glued mine on. Never had an issue and it's been years since I've attached mine.

Well that's the thing. I don't have any templates and like I said before, the recent pair I made, was flawed in design, so I'll have to remake mine later down the line. I only used faux leather, however you can use real leather if you can find any. Just be sure they're not too thick.
You can find leather pants on ebay that you may be able to re-purpose as your boot tops. Just cut along the pant sleeve, measured to your legs, and figure out a way to attach them.

I think there's pics in the archives from someone who got a cobler to make them for him. You can see the ideal shape. Hopefully the pics are still there.
