voice modulator for my Bat fleck suit?

OK guys so as some of you know my 89 suit is compete and I am happy with it. I recently ordered a cowl from jamie and a good suit for my dawn of justice suit. I have this maybe crazy idea that there may be a way to get a voice changer with a lapel to make it similar to what he has in the movie. Anyone done anything like this or could reccomend one? I'll post pics as my suit comes together. Still waiting on most of it. I have done several appearances in my 89 with great feedback and I can't wait to add my new suit to my options!

Just an update on this in am thinking of using a throat mic and connecting it to my cell phone which has a perfect voice changing app for it. Then via bluetooth connecting my phone to a small portable speaker and attaching it to my utility belt. Not sure if it will work but sounds fun to try! I'll keep you all posted!

Will do! My throat mic will be here tomorrow ! I tested it this morning with a standard headset and it sounded pretty cool. Love your suit by the way!

I'm actually working on this as well. I have a running post on the rpf for this.
Please post what type of throat mic you are using and speaker.

Re: voice modulator for my Bat fleck suit?

Because I wasnt sure if it would work I ordered a standard rather generic one from amazon. I have been testing my idea using a turtle beach xo7 headset for xbox one and a Phillips blutooth speaker. The app i have been using is in Google play it's called robovox. It seems to work ok so far however there is some feedback that comes through the speaker but I think most of it is a combination of the turtle beach picking up so much noise and the Phillips speaker being so big. There is also about a half a second delay from what I am saying to when it is projected through the speaker. I really think though and I am hoping that these problems will be taken care of once I get the throat mic in today and once I get a smaller speaker. What is your setup? Have you had any success? Also I just thought of something,I bet the reason that I am getting so much echo/feedback is because my speaker has a built in mic. I am going to pick up a new, smaller one today so I'll keep you all posted tonight! So far I think this is going to be a pretty cool effect.

Here's the link to the rpf post.

I haven't purchased anything yet. But will soon. The biggest thing is finding a throat mic to use. Then the proper cable connection.

Ok guys here's where we are at so far. My throat mic came in yesterday but i didn't realize the headphone jack was too small for my phone. So I can't use it. I am sending it back but my new one will be here Sunday according to ups. I did do some more testing though using my turtle beach head set. As I mentioned before there was alot of feedback and echo but I now know it's just because of the headset I am testing it out with. I found last night that if I put the mic stick on my headset directly pressed on my neck (vocal chord area) basically simulating what the throat mic will do, the feedback and echo was gone and it sounded pretty good! The only other slight issue that I found is that there is about a half second delay with what I am saying and what come out of the speaker. I don't know that there is a way around that but if anyone has any suggestions let me know. I am using an android app called robovox just FYI. Anyway just hoping now that my throat mic will work as well as I rigged up my larger headset

OK guys throat mic came in and it works fine but the delay to the blutooth speaker is kind of annoying. I think if there was no delay it would be fine. Almost would be better off using a regular voice changer rather than going through the app ect. Only problem is that most voice changers don't let you attach any mic you want and the ones they come with have to be right up on the mic.
