89 Props (and display ideas needed)

So here's a mostly complete set of Batman 1989 props, most everything is metal:

Image
Metal emblem. A little darker than screen accurate yellow, but still cool.

Image
Metal Batarang, original maker unknown. Got this one from Ed, but I've seen this version around other places.

Image

Image
Belt with metal Henry Wayne buckle and metal pods, and truck molding strap. So not as screen accurate as the bright yellow version, but the gold is just too beautiful to pass up. I had the opportunity to trade my yellow for the gold, and I couldn't resist. I believe the original belt strap was not actually made -of- the truck molding, but a cast of it, hence why it's a little larger than screen used. But for my build, I used the original truck part.

SDSTUDIOS "all-metal" speargun, latest version. The most accurate speargun ever made, and I believe the very last one Steve ever shipped out. There is actually a resin piece on it, despite being billed as "all metal" everywhere.

Image

Image
Metal Double Speargun Gauntlet made by Germanbat. The crown jewel of my 89 pieces. I think Guido only made 3 of these (he can correct me). This thing is huge, heavy, and beautiful. I've replaced the spring with a stronger one and am working on adding a lock and trigger for the mechanism.

Image
Another Germanbat creation, metal and glass smoke bomb capsules. These are a little bit larger in person than you'd think.

Image
Also made by Germanbat, the Ninja Wheels were never used in the film, but were staged in the vault door.

Speaking of the vault door, I'm trying to come up with a way to lay all this stuff out in a display that's reminiscent of it. Here's how I imagine things would be roughly spaced:

I'm thinking of something about 3 feet high, but not sure what it would be made out of. I kind of want it to resemble the inside of the door, with the locking bolts around the perimeter and the layers of "metal" backgrounding surrounding the foam center.

Hey Greg,

A thought I'm having is get a 89 torso to put the emblem in and put the belt around the base. For the rest get some dense black foam and cut out the shapes so you can fit the weapons in the negative spaces. Put that all on a wall behind the torso.

I nabbed a vertical display from work before we threw it out. I just need to add lights. You might find something here:

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to start with the foam layout for the gadgets minus the emblem and belt, and figure out the rest from there. I do like the torso idea, but if I do that, I'm sure I'll want to put a cowl on it, then a cape... then it never ends :)
